János Mikuli
director of the Janus University Theather

First he met acting in the middle 70-es as a member of the Petőfi Amateur Theather from Sárbogárd. In the big time of hungarian amateur playing he took part in the festivals of the country as a student actor, moreover he managed to go abroad. The most succesful directing of Albin Leszkovszki, the John the Hero was played by his generation in the high school.
In 1978 he got to the collage of education in Pécs, where János Vincze was just organizing the Opened Stage in that time. From 1980 to 1989 he was one of the leading actors of the famous company. Then he was playing in the Little Theather of Pécs, and began to direct. In 1992 he became the headmaster of the teather. In 1995 the city council merged the Little Theather of Pécs and the Endre Ságvári Community Centre, so the Third Theather of Pécs was estabilished. János Mikuli was the deputy headmaster of it for a year. The Janus University Theather was founded by he and Ernő András Tóth in 1996. Since then he has been working as it's director.
